The Alliance Française de Sacramento is located at CLARA (E. Claire Raley studios for the Performing Arts) in the former Fremont School in Midtown Sacramento. Our office, library and classrooms are on the second floor. The building occupies the block between 24th and 25th and  N and O Streets.

Parking is available in the lot behind CLARA
-Enter from 25th Street between N & O Sts
-Exit from O Street between 25th & 24th Sts

When the lot is full, free street parking is available. Please pay attention to street parking signs for time limits for non-residents. The parking lot is locked at approximately 11:00pm.

Parking Lot Remains Free DURING CLASSES, except on weekend evenings (starting Sept 2025)

The CLARA parking lot remains FREE for students, members and event attendees while at a class/workshop/event at CLARA. Starting in September 2025, on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings after 6:00pm; you will need to pay for parking or have a parking pass displayed.  You will see  signs throughout the lot with QR codes to scan with your phone for digital parking payments in the CLARA parking lot, if your vehicle is there Fri/Sat/Sun after 6pm, you will need to pay for the parking spot ($5). Unpaid vehicles will be ticketed on those evenings. 

Our Office  and our Library are both located on the second floor in the northeast corner of the building. When you pull into the parking lot, keep to the right side of the building. The AF is on the side closest to the two-story Eiffel Tower.

The CLARA Auditorium is on the 24th Street Side of the building, with the entrance near the Sacramento Ballet.

An accessible ramp is located behind the building with an elevator on the first floor.  An entry code is required to enter the building after hours. Please e-mail us for the entry code if you plan to visit!
