On the second Friday of each month, at 7 pm in the AF office, our very own Ciné Club presents la Soirée Cinéma, a private showing of movies that gives you an opportunity to watch French films and to share the experience with other members and their guests. Each month in the Alliance Française office, we feature a French film which is introduced by one of our members and shown in French with English sub-titles. Following the film, we all share in a lively discussion.
The Alliance Française in Sacramento has a large collection of books, periodicals, movies and music available for members to borrow. Individually selected, they form a broad reflection of francophone culture throughout the world; and we have resources for everyone - adults, children, travellers, native speakers as well as those learning the language.
